For Nationale Nederlanden, Powerplant developed a future-oriented hospitality concept for the Eventspace. This space is part of the award-winning workplace environment in the Haagse Poort in The Hague. The eventspace is intended to showcase NN's ambitions and allow events to take place in-house. With an F&B offering that embraces and portrays the food transition. To meet the ambitions, a 100% plantbased menu has been developed in collaboration with Join Program.
Catering without impact on the world. A food concept with the smallest foot/d print in corporate catering in the Netherlands. The principles?
100% plant-based, 80% local (from the Netherlands), no food waste, no disposables, no single use plastic, compostable packaging material, zero emission.
The assortment consists of 8 fixed recognizable street food/finger food icons. Each icon offers its own experience and eating moment. These are handy, festive and easy to eat standing up. Their interpretation (flavors and ingredients) is surprising, healthy and varies by season, quarter or month. So while there is little menu choice, there are many options in size and appearances to suit all types of events.
Working closely with the NN project team, architect Fokkema & partners and branding agency Silo, a concept has been delivered that will loosen tongues and inspire. Every detail and way of working was carefully thought through and existing methods were questioned. This led, among other things, to an innovative way of producing and publishing that prevents waste and saves time.
