Who we are

Powerplant is a design agency and develops concepts for hospitality and offices with a sustainable approach. From idea and strategy to design and implementation of the brand, physical spaces, graphics, service and optimization. We are a powerful and creative club in Amsterdam working for renowned organizations and ambitious entrepreneurs such as Booking.com, PwC, Heyday, Nike, CBRE, Nationale Nederlanden, Miro, KPN and Join Program. An interesting mix of innovative entrepreneurs and international corporates.

Who we are looking for

As a Hospitality Consultant within Powerplant, you are the connecting link between strategy, experience and execution. You will advise clients on hospitality within workplace environments and translate these into assignments for the studio. You will be part of the MT (with the two owners, creative director and operations director) and contribute to the business strategy from a commercial perspective.

Your responsibilities

• Develop effective commercial strategy in collaboration with marketing/communications
• Strategically advise organizations on hospitality within workplace environments (offices, coworking, campus) 
• Translate concept into business cases and operational plans
• Be a sparring partner for internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Further build and maintain a relevant network 
• Identify trends, benchmark and come up with new ideas for commercial opportunities

We believe that the right person can work both strategically and operationally and ask:

• At least a completed college education
• 5+ relevant work experience in a consulting role within hospitality or work environments
• Strong business acumen: you can prepare business cases and work with numbers
• Excellent network in hospitality / F&B / soft services and is willing to maintain contacts for projects
• Communicatively strong, persuasive and customer-oriented
• Hands-on mentality: you are willing to assist in implementation
• Flexible and entrepreneurial; you feel at home in a dynamic environment
• Available 32-40 hours per week
